Resolve Security Warnings On Windows And Macintosh When Installing One Of Our Newer Products

The developers at Microsoft and Apple think most people are idiots and try to prevent you from installing small, niche market software, such as ours that you have paid for. If unsure how to get around their warnings if generated, see the information below prior to installing our software. We’ll cover Windows first then Macintosh.

When launching one of our Windows Installers, its possible the following message will be generated:

Click “More Info” to get to the next prompt.

Now click Run Anyway to run our installer(s). The installer will now run.


Macintosh Installation

When launching one of our Macintosh Installers, its possible the following message will be generated:

If the above prompt is seen, click OK to close the installer.

Next depress the Control Key, click Once on the installer and select Open.

If however a user is having difficulty they cannot resolve through the use of our Support Page following the 1 year of free support that requires us to log into the system remotely, please order the Paid Support instance and then contact us for remote assistance by following the instructions below.

Please note that remote tech support either within the initial year or through a Paid Support instance following the one year expiration does not include walking a user through doing a color separation. It is also not a “How To Use Photoshop or UltraSeps Lesson”. It only covers getting UltraSeps back to a functional state on your system if needed. Although most all issues can usually be resolved through the information provided on our Support Page or through a simple email.

Prior to contacting us to correct your issue, launch TeamViewer.

Take note of your User ID Number and Password.

The User ID is usually a 9 digit number, the Password is normally 4 – 6 characters.

Keep Team Viewer running. Do not quit the program!!!!

Make sure the UltraSeps v2 Folder, the one containing all the files downloaded from
our website is on your desktop so I can easily access it.

If the UltraSeps v2 Folder containing the installers, actions, test images, etc. has been lost or deleted, download a copy here and unzip:

Email your User ID Number and Password from TeamViewer and let us know if using Windows or Macintosh.

We’ll then login to your system to resolve the issue.

If your system requires an administrator password to delete or install system files, its a good idea to include that as well. If not, you might need to be present during the support session. Since the TeamViewer login password changes with each launch, providing us your admin password does not pose a security risk.

Do not attempt to use your computer while we’re accessing it with the exception of typing
in your administrator password IF an alert box such as this appears during the process.

Reauthorize UltraSeps On Your System How To

I’ve just migrated to a new hard drive and UltraSeps stopped working?

UltraSeps might need to be reauthorized if changing your operating system, migrating to a new hard disk, adding RAM or a new Video Card, etc. The reason is that our copy protection may see this as a new computer itself, and not a normal system update. This can also occur if the end user accidentally deletes or overwrites vital files required by UltraSeps.  Most of these possible have been resolved however as of 2016.

The copy protection built into UltraSeps “might” not permit an unlocked installation to be moved to a new hard disk. If UltraSeps is migrated along with all your other software to a new drive, you’ll receive an error named C23 when trying to run it and UltraSeps will not function.

UltraSeps will need to be authorized again on your system.  The easiest fix is to open your C: Drive and look for a folder named “UltraSeps” and delete that folder.  On Macintosh, open the top level of the hard drive “Macintosh HD” and delete the folder named “UltraSeps”.

Next, download a new installer (the trial can be used) and run it with Photoshop closed.

Open Photoshop and run the Unlock UltraSeps Action.
The Try-Buy-Unlock-Quit alert box will appear.
Click Unlock (it could also say Authorize) and send us the 10 digit Request Number.
We’ll then get back to you a.s.a.p. with a new unlock code.

Once the new unlock code is received, perform the same process above but this time, enter our unlock code into the authorization screen.  UltraSeps is once again unlocked.

UltraSeps Stopped Working After Installing New OS X Macintosh

I’ve just installed a new version of OS X on my Macintosh and UltraSeps stopped working?

This potential issue has since been resolved and should no longer occur. The issue has been permanently fixed as of 2016.  If affected however, see below.

UltraSeps may see an operating system upgrade as a new computer and after the upgrade, when attempting to use UltraSeps the following warning might be generated: “This application is configured for use on one computer only”. This won’t happen with incremental system updates and can only occur with a full system upgrade such as going from Lion to Mavericks as an example with an install of UltraSeps prior to 2016.

On Macintosh, open the top level of the hard drive “Macintosh HD” and delete the folder named “UltraSeps”.  Next, download a new installer (the trial can be used) and run it with Photoshop closed.

Open Photoshop and run the Unlock UltraSeps Action.  The Try-Buy-Unlock-Quit alert box will appear.  Click Unlock (it could also say Authorize) and send us the 10 digit Request Number.  We’ll then get back to you a.s.a.p. with a new unlock code.  Now perform the same function but this time, enter our unlock code into the authorization screen.  UltraSeps is once again unlocked.
